India has emerged as one of the best performing stock markets in the past 1 year.It has attracted billions of dollars of investments.Now this has made the share prices sky rocketting.How do the retail investors gain from such a market.I mean how common people can make hay while stock SUN still shines which is expected to shine for the coming one year at least.

I think most investment experts would agree that the only way to make money out of the stock market is to invest in the long-term. You need to ride out all the little ups, downs and corrections, and wait for the value of your investments to rise slowly but surely.

If you're looking to make short-term investments to try to take advantage of temporary conditions in the market, you might get lucky, but you might as well go down to the racetrack and take a punt on a horse.

My advise to you is know who you are dealing with when investing in any market.
I know some guys that invested others money in the stock market and did very well. Then I also knew some that took money from some people and said they invested it, but spent it instead on themselves.
Money can do very starange things to even some of the best people and change them drastically. So words of caution, invest smart, wisely, know what it is you are putting your money into and with who you are trusting.

Well in todays market one should play very safe game means book profit as soon as stock reaches at least 20% up and vice versa.Always make provisions for losses too.One and most important thing is always keep in mind never be in panic.

Unfortunately, every bull market adds up a story of how they lost money! Yes, You can make money as well loose a hefty one, resulting in never to return to the market. It is better if you are not greedy. Put up a stop loss. Keep on changing your portfolio. Your portfolio should consist of diverse industries. Lastly, think of the long term.
