The best career in the world

Unfortunately, it's not that simple!

It all depends on what you enjoy doing, what you're good at, where you live (there are lots of opportunities in some fields in some areas which you won't find in others), and what your priorities are - do you want to make a difference in other peoples' lives, or do you just want to make a lot of money?

Or if you want the short answer, it's Rock Star, or Chocolate Taster. But unfortunately I don't know how you get into either of those jobs.

According to me:
1st criteria to describe a best career would be the profession that you like best...

2nd criteria is that you should develop storng communication skills relevant to that profession, so that you can reach where you wanna be!

Career Paths

Something else I forgot to mention -

Think about the specific skills and qualifications you need for the various career choices, and whether you have the desire and the means to get those qualifications.

I hopr this doesn't sound too negative - when you decide you really want to do something, you can always find a way.

I think the best career these days is probably working with computers. You could work as a programmer, web developer, computer engineer, etc. and make lots of money in any of these fields because they are growing so fast.

Computer careers

Careers in computing can be great, but you need to have the right aptitude to be really successful. Bear in mind that you tend to spend your day working with a machine - a lot of people leave the industry after a few years because it's a bit lonely.

The computer industry is growing all the time, but so is the computer skills education industry. Over the last few years, a lot of people have done training courses believing that there is an oversupply of jobs in the industry, only to find out that in some areas there is in fact an oversupply of skilled workers. Check out your employment prospects before you take the plunge.

If you get it right, working with computers can be very intellectually challenging, well-paid, and you'll be well in demand.

I actually 'hire' programmers and unfortunately so many gradutes today studied computer science because they think it's a good career and not because they have a passion for it and they graduate without being able to do any programming at all.

Programming is not for everyone. Unless you are a techie and enjoy fiddling with the computer and hack stuff, it's not what you should pursue, as it's really, really very difficult.

RE: Best Career

Well the primary objective is to follow your heart and mind. If your inner self tells you to be a techie, opt for it. However, if you want to proceed towards a wonderful career, my advice will be - try to complete Management studies.

Also, just go through job-listing papers and sites and try to do a research on what's the Demand. After that follow the Supply.

Hope this helps :!: :!: :!:

Service industries will always be needed. Take a look at skilled trades that everyone will always need - electrician, plumber, HVAC - these are areas that we will always need and that pay pretty well.

Cool you are very correct, I am a student of computer science and I see people doing this course as they think they can get jobs easily in this arena. Its realy difficult for watching them confused in understanding the syntax of the computer language!! What they do is just remembering the answer to a specific code line by line and they copy whatever they remember, they don't try to understand what are the logic behind them. I feel so pity for them but I have a bigger smile on my face also that the competitors in this field are far more behind me, atleast in my study center!!

I changed careers twice in my life because I kept trying to fit myself in where most people think are good career paths. Unfortunately, my heart was not really in it and my unhappiness can be shown as I do my work. So, in the end, it's what you really want to do for the rest of your life that matters, and once you figure that one out, you should get the appropriate skills for it.
