All eyes on Da Vinci Code

ever since I read dan brown's the davinci code, i became quite intrigued with christian history and it left me wanting more. so i read angels and demons (borrowed it from a frnd) and loved it even more. now I recommend these 2 books to whomever is a bookworm like myself and i really cant wait for the Da Vinci Code movie to come out.

Yes. The Da Vinci Code is the great fictional story forever. Sometimes i suspect all of these or true.The reach ot that brings lot of eye's on the next book of "Solomon Key" by Dan Brown

"The DaVinci Code"

Luckily for us all Ron Howard is a better director than Dan Brown is an author...meaning the movie is much Much better than the book. The info in the book is not particularly a revelation(no pun intended) It is an interesting saunter thru some real and supposed history. It has definitely increased the tourist trade in several venues.

"Angels and Demons" has the same hero and it also follows a distinct historical path it is just in mostly Italian in flavor rather than mostly French...but the formula is identical to TDC. I suppose he wanted everyone to follow along. :?

I have to disagree with you there. I think the book is way better than the movie. Mostly because with the shorter time constraints, the movie cannot include all the fascinating details of the book. I enjoyed the movie, but after reading the book I though it was oh so predictable. Which is good I guess because I also hate when a book veers too far from the movie.

Overall though, I was disppointed with the movie ending that it didn't follow the book more closely. I didn't like how the movie makes Sophie to be the next Savior or something because she's the sole heir now to carry the truth of everything.

Sadly, I have yet to watch the movie, but I have always had mixed feelings about the Da Vinci Code. It is interesting and it does put the spotlight on some ideas about the origin of Christianity that may be hard to swallow, but there are some plot points that somehow don't stick. I don't know. Maybe I'll have a different feel for it if I read it again.

Da Vinci Code is a wonderful story. i suppose simply wonderful will not do. Its simply awesome...The concepts expressed in Da VInci code is mind-blowing. Just think how Dan Brown has described the concepts of Fibonacci Series, and Divine proportion concepts. Both of them are inter-related, and although there had been several concepts about these topics, yet the concepts have spread worldwide popularity. Just explore the concepts to know more about Da Vinci fundas.

Secret concepts about Da Vinci

The secret concepts of Da vinci code is simply awesome. The Fibonacci series goes like this : 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144...Starting with 0 and 1, each new number in the series is simply the sum of the two before it. And from here comes the concept of Divine Proportion. This means that every concept in nature comes upto a divine proportion of 1.618. This means that if you divide the full length of the human being divided by the length from his waist to feet then it wil come to the balance of 1.618. Similarly a complete insect divided by teh number of segments in its body comes to the proportion of 1.618. This is applicable to Beethoven's synphony, portraits of da Vinci, trees and leaves, flowers and stalk length etc.

Really can not belive how this was such a great issue back just a few months ago.

When it frist come out and all the negativity that come with this.
Now not a word have I heard since the couple of weeks when this movie air in the theaters.

Anyone have any new happenings on this book and movie???

If you're interested in some more history on this subject, you've got to read about the Knights Templar. There is also a book called The Gospel of Mary and it is supposed to be written by Mary Magdelene. It is frightening how much of our history is distorted and hid from us. If we want to know anything, we must seek it out for ourselves.
