1. Always try and give variety to your answers
2. Fine-tune interpersonal skills
3. Do not quake in your boots
4. Prepare for stress
5. Showcase the important things
6. Rehearse well
7. Create a mental picture of yourself
8. Ask good questions
9. Look beyond the obvious

Also,

10. Wear a suit or nice dress that's blue, black or dark grey no matter which business you are applying at. I once knew someone who wore a bright red dress to a job interview at IBM. When she got there she saw everyone else, everyone, was wearing dark blue and she stuck out like a sore thumb.

11. Cover up all tattoos and remove all piercing jewelry.

One more tip I would like to add is recognize and prepare for opportunity , in the heat of the project its to late to recognize you may have a key skill missing. It's really going to slow your progress if your team has to learn on the job and you may make to many wrong decisions. If you are using new technology acquire the skills through advisers, pilot projects and prototypes. Prepare your team by training, reading, experimenting on small scale and absorbing knowledge from experts.
