Architectural cities

For me, the most fascinating and beautiful architectural city in the world is Barcelona. A few years ago I spent a week there just wandering around and admiring the works of Gaudi, and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

I haven't traveled outside the US. :cry: But I absolutely love Chicago's architecture! It's the best, most beautiful place i've ever been.

Chicago is definitely a city on my wish list - it has a very important place in the history of architecture, as being the home of the world's first steel skyscrapers.

I'd also love to see New York - do I even need to explain why? Seeing the Guggenheim Museum would be worth the trip alone.
