Australian school bans YouTube.

An assault at school sparked the decision by an Australian school to ban YouTube from the school. They said that a gang of male students taped an assault against a female student and put it on YouTube. Because of all the cyber bullying, they decided to ban YouTube.

youtube

On YouTube , you can upload any video. There is no control over it. That's why YouTube may be banned at Australian school .

There should be a pre check of videos for vulgarer & unauthorized use of videos there.

Also miss behaving users must be kicked out from the site ASAP.

Yeah that's true I guess. Alot of people upload alot of dumb and irrelevant stuff on the site. I'm amazed they can hold all of it. As much good stuff there is on there, theres that much bad stuff too.

Victoria, Australia's second-most populous state, has banned the popular video-sharing site from its 1,600 government schools after a gang of male school students videotaped their degrading assault on a 17-year-old girl on the outskirts of the state capital of Melbourne.A recent poll of 650 school students by the University of Melbourne's education faculty found that 32 percent of those aged 12 to 17 reported being victims of cyberbullying, The Herald Sun reported Thursday.

Yeah. People put alot of things now on YouTube because its so big, and everyone can watch videos on it. But, the thing is, that it's dumb to put illegal videos on there because everyone watches it. I've seen on the news alot that people get in a fight or bully someone, and then put it on YouTube.
