Dungeons and Dragons new game

Is the new Dungeons and Dragons worthy of buying? If it is I want to know. Cause I don't want to go out and pay the 50 or so dollars that it will cost. I really am looking for a game that will beat World of Warcraft. I just don't know if that is at all possible.

Please help me if you can.

At first it seems great but World of Warcraft is way better! You get to do more in WoW as opposed to being stuck in a Dungeon 98% of the time in Dungeons and Dragons but it is part of the name I guess.
