Temps are a hard subject to broach. Sometimes they're a necessity that can't be avoided.

I've had good and bad experiences with them. Often it's hard because they dont' seem to work as hard or be as passionate about what they're doing since they don't have loyalty to the company or boss. And they might not really even love what they do.

But then I've hired a few who worked exceptionally well and hard (better than my full-time staff) because they were hoping to make a good impression and get hired on full time.

So I guess it can go both ways. It so often depends on the individual and the job and the company.
