Long term vs short term relationships

well with relationships I figure there are 3 paths to take.

First and foremost you can take the path of least resistance which generally gets you nada. The second path is what I like to call short term relationships. These relationships are great starters out because you have little commitments and you can choose to go to the next level while still having fun :D

The next level being Long Term Relationships these are the relationships that you will want to get into while still having fun but you have already gone through all the crap of learning the pet peeves of the other person and have gathered some sort of understanding of your partner. These relationships either last a long time hence LONG TERM RELATIONSHIP or they don't last at all and you get to start all over again :( Either way if that is a route you choose to take more power to you. Just make sure you are willing to commit to the relationship and not half ass it like many do which is a prime reason why our divorce rate is soo high these days. But that is a topic for another time and place.

Let me know your views on Long Term vs Short Term Relationships

Long term relationships are better in the long run. They are bound to be stronger because they have been tested by time. The people involved in the relationship would know each other more, be more understanding of each other and more accepting of each other.

that's the longest one i've ever had..
and, to think that i wasn't even that happy with the guy...

term does not matter.. at least for me

well.. for me, i guess the term is not much that important... long term relationship did not work for me.. well, 4 yrs is long.. but it did not work out.. yah.. being in that relationship help me a lot.. and it was hard to accept that it wasnt really working. but we are ok now, i dont see him often that often but if we do.. we say hi and talk for awhie.. thats enough for me now.. having been able to be in that relationship gives me memory to treasure... and its time that i moved on.. and now, i did... im married.. and me and me and my husband just been engaged for a year.. we love each other and we are happy now, so far.. so there.. thats my story.. whats urs??? lol...
