Things to do before Marriage

Things that might help in deciding whether to take the next step or not are as follows:

1.) can you truly without a doubt say that you love the person with all your heart and soul?

2.) Have you rushed into the relationship after just getting out of another relationship?

3.) Are you ever imbarrassed in public by your partner? Sometimes that is a good thing but if it makes you feel bad then its a bad thing.

4.) Can you easily talk to your partner about anything and everything without fear of them belittling you or making fun of you or tearing you down because your idea of a topic to talk about is crap?

5.) Is your relationship abusive or has it ever been abusive?

6.) Has your partner cheated on you while you have been together or have you feared that they have and you just haven't figured it out yet?

Some of these questions if you answer yes to is a good thing some if you answer yes too are bad things all I can say is if the bad ones are yes then get out and move on. If the good ones are yes well take it slow and make darn well sure that you know what your doing before rushing in too deep!!!

A nice questionnaire, but does it really help us to judge a person? As, human behaviour is complex, and one can spend the whole life without really knowing someone close to you. There are cases where criminals were known to be gentle and nice.

So, whether one can judge before marriage is all up-to one-self, but the following may help in your judgement whether it is before/after marriage.

A great marriage is not when the “perfect couple” comes together, It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

The reason why we marry our partners is not because of what they have but because we know that we can live and tolerate their drawbacks and shortcomings.

Marriage is not about "finding the right person" but in "being the right person".

If a marriage needs help, the answer almost always is to have more fun. Drop your list of grievances and go ride a roller coaster.

Marriage is union of bodies and alliance of souls.

The key to a long and healthy marriage is that, honestly, there is nothing worth fighting about.

We seldom give each other advice-I think that is the success of 25 years of marriage.
