Working with tempory staffing.

In the past I have been a plant supervior at a plant. We did packaging for paper products for companies to send out promotions to stores and sales people, and customers.

At diffent times of the year the work load was heavier than normal. This meant we had to add more people on temperary to get the supply and demand in order.

The company would have local staffing agencies to send employes from thier office to help out. Sometimes this was good and other times did not work out that great.

Finding out working with temp service people can be very stressful and time consuming. Depending on the person and thier ablity to work. I found some of them to be excellent workers as others you can tell was there for the money.

Our companies really making it work by allowing a temp service come in and offering thier services? Maybe in a large setting, but what about the smaller companies? What do you think? Have you ever worked with or for a temp staffing service?
