Nap Time? What Nap Time?

Hello parents and caregivers,

My son is 16-months-old and refuses to nap in his crib. He likes to take naps near me or on me, or in his stroller. I don't want to let him "cry it out" - it doesn't work with him, anyway. Any other helpful hints?

bed time musics can help

:) my daughter is also like that..she never used her crib in sleeping time.. i tried playing soft music and turning the light off at night help the baby sleep very well and long hours...and also singing and massaging your baby before sleep can also help to have a good night sleep...

:) try it...

Each to their own on this one but if my daughter needs some sleep but doesn't want to dose off - my remedy for this is simple :-

If your child uses a dummy, put a small smear on Glycerine on the teat of the dummy, it works for my daughter she concetrate so hard on sucking the sweet taste off, she just wears herself out!

Try it if you're interested but dont use very much at all - it was a trick i was given from my mum & we ended up calling it Lillian's Magic Juice coz it works every time!
