The Alimentarium Food Museum in Lewey, Switzerland, has the world’s oldest cake. The 4200 year old confectionary was tightly sealed and vacuum packed in the grave of Pepiakh, who lived in the ancient Egypt.
The said confectionary measures 425 cm in diameter. The said cake is garnished and filled with sesame outside and filled with honey inside. Just a thought: what is the taste of that cake? Was it fat-free?
