The oldest love poem
Archeologists noted the oldest poem found written on a clay tablet. It was found written in the time of the Sumerians who invented writing. Actually, it was given the rather an unromantic name of Istanbul 2461 and it is thought to have been recited by a bridge of the Sumerian King Shu Sin who ruled between 2037-2029BC. Some of its line was:
Bridegroom, dear to my heart
Goodly is your beauty, honeysweet
Lion, dear to my heart
Goodly is your beauty, honeysweet
