How many types of pianos are there?

There have been several variations as to what would make up a board with several strings attached to it. The most popular types of pianos are: The Grand Piano and The Baby Grand Piano. And the one we are most familiar with because of it's compact size, although it weighs almost the same as a Grand Piano, is the Upright Piano found most popular in institutions all over the world.
