There are a few hybrid SUVs out there now, but the question is, will these hybrids truly be good for the environment in 10 years when their batteries go caput and we have to figure out what to do with them? My best recommendation for an SUV for the family is something like the Honda CRV. A friend of mine has one and gets relatively good gas mileage and can fit her dog and sons in it, with room for diaper bags. Check it out!
