Infectious “i love you”

In May 2000, millions fell foul to the word “I love you” due to the futuristic flattery of the “love bug”. It has been estimated the computer virus caused worldwide damage amounting to $ 1.54 billion. Around 3.1 million computers were infected, making “I love you” the most wide spread and virulent computer virus the world has ever see. The virus was eventually traced to the Philippines.

This I love you thingie, I think it is not a bug but rather a virus. I definitely agree that it had infected many computers around the world. Though I cannot say that I am proud to be a filipino, but I guess the Filipino mind is creative and had created this virus by simply getting the attention of the person who receives it. I am not sure what you call that, but it has something to do with psychological aspect.
