Travellers' spot in London

Greetings!

I am planning a trip to London next year, and I need help! I don't even know the best time of year to go. I think we would like to see some theater, go to some pubs, maybe get a car and drive around the surrounding countryside. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

Shopping haven in London!
Make a trip to Harrod's
A must-shop-kinda-shopping place!

It's famous around the world. I think some people come to London just to go there! lol

It's huge and it has some very expensive items for sale.
Possible to buy some things at average London prices too
You'll be able to buy something at almost any budget there, so don't worry!

Note- they do have some dress codes in place, so don't be too scruffy of wear ripped clothes.

Egyptian Hall is very impressive
Toy Hall is good too.

Best time to see the outside is at dusk...
when it is lit up with over 11,000 light bulbs!

As for theatres, galleries, let me remember then I'll post again

Expected many more people to contribute their experiences about their UK travel experience which could have made my purpose to travel there a good one. I believe there must be many more who are willing to travel to UK but advice and suggestions from these travel communities are like gems which should be collected en route to any destination and that is the reason I am here. Looks to me there are not many people who are interested to communicate, that is surely disappointing.
