Habits develop a winning child

I have heard of stories of mothers who have reared winning writer, have raised scholarly child and have developed geniuses. Most of the parents come from the poverty line. Developing the necessary habits like reading, watching educational shows on television, exposing them to science resource books, internet, etc. matter a lot.

Yes that is true. I am an avid reader, have been reading since I am about 4, neither one of my boys read. I read to them constantly as babies and toddlers, took them to the library, wrote stories with and for them, and still no go. I guess it just has to be in you. No one in my family was hungry for knowledge like I am, so I certainly didn't learn it there.
So it is not just nurture, it is nature at work too.

Yeah, yall are right. You can't really force someone to do something. They have to have the urge and desire to do something within themselves. If they don't have it, chances are, even if you force them, they won't like it. And then, whenever there on there own, they won't do whatever it was that you forced them to do.
