I did have full labor with my first. 26 1/2 hours of labor and dialated fully but pelvic doesn't give.
Had all 3 of my boys c-section. All were completely different.
First had no problems at all from spinal to afterward and very little post partum.
Second had problems with spinal, had problems during c-section itself, then problems afterward, and finally lots of complications after I got home with post partum as one more thing to add to my recovery.
Third no problems with c-section and no problems afterwards and bad postpartum.
All three pregnancies were different for me. Only the first one did I have to go thru so many hours of labor. The 2nd two I was scheduled but was having contractions with both when I went in for c-sections.
