No one can do it all
Women in the workplace, absolutely. But let's not kidd ourselves. Women are under a tremendous amount of stress trying to keep the home and family together, and keep climbing that corporate ladder. We need company day care centers, flex time, more support from partners and extended maternity leave.

Women at Work
Perhaps if women stop trying to DO it all, they can actually have it all. Why does all of the childcare, housekeeping and cooking always fall on the working mother to handle? Perhaps if we gave our husbands more responsibilities we'd find the time to reach our career goals.

Work and family
I absolutely agree that the problem lies not so much with women trying to do too much, but with men not doing enough. As women have become more and more involved with work outside the home, men have failed to pick up the slack within the home. Of course, lots of men do their fair share, but I think that's the trend.

I heartily agree. Men are equally responsible for raising the family, so they should be involved with the tasks that go hand-in-hand with it. Fathers are parents too, not just the mothers.
I also read from this article that good dads make better bosses.

I have worked outside the home more than not over the past 15 yrs of being a mom. With three kids the balance of home and work is a very difficult task to keep up with.
I agree with a lot of men just not doing enough. Things go much more smoothly if you pass some of the responsibilty off.
However, I am guilty of not asking or letting him help sometimes just because I would like to have things done "my way".
Trying to make time for yourself is one of the most important things a woman can do.
Guess what the dishes and kids will still need you after an hour that you just do something for yourself. This also keeps down the stress levels and makes you a better person to be around.
Keep your sanity by trying not to be such a perfectionist and make time for you...the person...not mom, housekeeper, secretary, or taxi driver.

how could you manage so many things like that, and still look so young, cool!

Yes , kudos to all the women who work for their families , because they are nearly doing more than double the work that they are meant to do . Men do only half the work and still get the credit of a house runner , i hope people really wake up to this .Women are achievers in the true sense today , managing a household is nt a small task .
