Do energy drinks really give you energy?

You know I had one of those energy drinks the other day and well I don't know it just didn't seem to have the immediate effect or Boost that I was looking for. Maybe it is that I drank it over time or something and I didn't get the full effect. I suppose that if I drank the whole thing right away that I might have been able to well get the boost that I was looking for.

I guess I am just curious if anyone else has ever gotten a Boost from those energy drinks? Or if I should just go back to Drinking MD (Mountain Dew).

Thanks

Depends on which drink you try

I think some bodies have more of a tolerance for caffeine. And you build it up over time too. So you have to get a pretty strong energy for the full effect.

Try Red Bull if you need a boost. It works great for me. But the problem is I don't think they're that healthy. :?
