Normal penis when it is hard, sticks straight at 90-degrees
False! Normal penises can be erect at anything from about 30-45 degrees all the way to boners that are stiff enough that the top of the penis almost touches the man's belly. Sometimes, penises will be erect in slightly different ways at different times, or at different ages in a man's life. Older men sometimes have erections that are not as super-stiff as they were when they were younger… but they are still just fine and dandy for great sex. In addition to the fact that erections can stick out, or up, to different degrees, they can also lean to one side or the other, or can even have a curve or a bend along the shaft.
All of these variations are completely normal and occur with considerable frequency. People who haven't seen very many penises (women who have only seen a few, or men who have only really seen their own) may not have come across many of the possible variations, but doctors, researchers, and people with lots of sexual experience have all reported that there can be a pretty considerable range of variation in the angle of the dangle and also in the degree of possible curve of penises that are totally normal and healthy.
