How to preserve raw rice from pests
If your raw rice is already free from insects or fungi, you can prevent possible attacks spreading it on a clean and plain surface under the sun light for some hours to be sure it's dry. Then store it in a very dry and clean closed container (glass or plastic) also for many months.
If rice contains some insects, you can as well put it under the sun to kill insects, or also wash it with a solution of BORIC ACID, then remove dead insects and put it under the sun and store it in dry containers even though there're many traces of dried boric acid, because it can be easily be washed away at the moment you consume it.
In case the rice is already attacked by fungi, I'm sorry, but it's better to dischsrge it into the trash.
