Well? I think some of them give you a nice clue of what linux is. One of the nicest things about them is that you don't actually need to install them on your hard disc drive. You just boot from CD and enjoy your new linux distribution. But all the things you've made such as preferences, setting and so on disappear when you restart the live distribution.
But it's a nice start isn't it?
not really, PC means personal computers, and with a PC, people make customizations in their systems, if these settings will be gone once the PC is restarted, well, it's not good enuff don't you think?
