Connecting components

I would like to inform you that the procedure of connecting the newly bought components was very difficult. I spend hours trying to put my PC together with the help of my brother. As we thought we connected all right we started the PC and it didn't show anything on the monitor. It turned out to be some power cable we never connected to the Motherboard.
A piece of advice if you are not sure how to do this on your own ask someone else to do it in front of you and just watch. Saves a lot of trouble...
