Turtles

Turtles are highly respected for their liver. Under the heavy armour there is a tissue which can be boiled roasted and prepared in several different ways. As vegetarian, their meat doesn't contain hollesterol and is very healthy.
In some parts of the world a blood of a turtle is drinking while still fresh. The blood of a turtle is bellieved that cures some forms of tumors.

I went to school in West Virginia and this guy from Ohio caught 2 turtles while we were there. He said he was going to make turtle soup. Of course no-one believed him. That night he proceeded to make a fire and we thought nothing of it. It was nice hanging 'round the fire. He went to the back of his truck and took out a giant pot. He got the hose, filled it up and put it in the fire. We were all laughing at this point, that is until he took those 2 big ole turtles out the back of his truck and threw them in that pot. Needless to say, we didn't eat that soup. I wonder if he did.
