Relax and unwind to balance work and personal life

Don't know bout you,
but for me, I simply unwind by doing yoga

it's like, you gotta know the art of thinking and judging whether or not you should stay late and work, or just leave it for the next day
to do that, you need a clear mind

so, my tips for you, unwind
doesn't matter, do it in the office, anything that gets you relaxed and clears your mind for a while

then you think about it, and you'll know what you need to do

keep doing this long enough and you'll know how to balance your work and personal life

more drastic levels of clearing things off my mind, go dancing, meet a few hunks, get laid, oh that's my favorite choice by the way, just get crazy enough and by morning, after all the guilty feelings and swearing that i'll never do it again, i'll be much more focused to get my things done, work or personal

hope this helps

cheers

relaxing

I don't know about getting drunk and laid, but I guess if it gets all your extra energy out.

I like to spend time outside myself. Nature is so wonderful, I go hiking, sunbathing, swimming, gardening, etc. etc. Most of these activities are active and help me get rid of nervous tension. Which I seem to have problems with, especially when I try to switch gears from work to home.

Otherwise I become  and lurk in dark alleyways for the unsuspecting.

Ya, i think we should do more outdoor activities to unwind.
smell the air, the ocean, the jungle, the beach, all these helps much more than clubbing and getting drunk and all that

Anymore adventure seeker out there?

Yoga

I really like yoga as a method of stress release. It not only relaxes your body, it cleanses your mind, and helps improve your concentration.

Best of all, you don't have a headache the next day, and it doesn't make you pregnant.

My own idea of unwinding after a stressful day is playing computer games after dinner, taking my dog for a long walk or just slumping like a sloth in front of the television. But I try to do deep breathing exercises before I go to sleep.

It is impossible for a person to change his personality and be one kind of person at home and a different one at the office; unless of course, he is putting on an act. Remember, people get wise to the act at one point of time or the other. Every one of us has been blessed with unique abilities and talents, so let us not waste time worrying because we are not like other people. It is important to be honest and truthful to yourself. It is even more important to be able to love and respect yourself for being you. Once you come across as an honest and straightforward person, people are likely to be more understanding and less interrogative.
