Long lasting cyber relationships
Expressions of thoughts and feelings have taken the written form all through recorded history. They are only different today in that they can be almost instantaneously sent and received via the internet, able to take place in the moment; almost as if present with another in the same room, or at least as on the telephone.
Whether in person, over the phone, by fax, the internet, or by paper letter, the energy between human communications causes reactions in us, as we are a compilation of body, min, and emotion, powered on intelligent Spirit.
The written word is powerful ...
No! causes us to pause before taking action. Beautiful poetry uplifts our emotions and puts us in a positive frame of mind. A nasty note ruins our day, leaving us feeling down, depressed or angry; again, words affecting our emotions.
Using this reasoning we can see that our words, in person, via phone, letters, or email affect the thoughts, feelings, and actions of the recipient.
We have the opportunity in our cyber relationships to interact with more people than in the days before the internet; we have the opportunity to form long-lasting relationships with people all over the world; sharing our ideas, thoughts and feelings, and being a comfort and sounding board to others in the same way.
