The indian saree

A saree (also spelled sari) is a garment known for its speciality in the Indian Subcontinent. Over the years of changing culture and fashion, the saree has treasured its charm and everlasting beauty. It is a long unstitched cloth usually 5.5 metres, draped in various styles.

The most common style is wrapped around the waist, then one end is draped over the left shoulder. It is often worn with a matching blouse (choli) with a matching petticoat. The blouse is usually a part of the saree and it is between 0.75 metres to 1 metre in length.

As fashion is taking its turn now, the Saree has also moved along with fashion and in today’s world of fashion, the Saree comes in different shades and tones, making it an evergreen choice by most of the women across the globe.
