Iron
Iron enables the red blood cell to send oxygen throughout the body and plays an important role in the transmission of signals in the brain. One can find it in green leafy vegetables, raisins, peanut butter, eggs, liver, shellfish, lean meats and soybeans.
Zinc
Zinc helps increase mental alertness. Food sources include seafood, oysters, fish, legumes, cereals, whole grains, and dark meat.
