Taxes

There is nothing more discouraging than having the government take a big bite out of a nice profit you just made on a trade. You can't avoid the taxman completely; however there are ways to keep the bite to a nip.

Yeah I hate it when I get my paycheck and then I see how all the taxes are taken away. Then after that when you have to do your tax returns and stuff like that there is more money taken away from you. Taxes, taxes, and more taxes. I wish I could just have my big paycheck. So, what are the ways to keep the bite to a nip?

Thumbs down

I don't think that you should have to pay double tax if you have a second job. Thats why you have a second job, to make more money! Not to get half of it taken out for tax.
If you have a retail job as your second job it isn't too bad because you don't get taxed much in retail.

Yeah I agree with you, but then people would start lying about their jobs. They would say they would have a 2nd job simply so that they wouldn't have to pay a tax for that job. The government would get cheated out on taxes because many people would lie.

I wish that people could just work and keep the money they make without paying taxes. I mean if they would just get the sales tax they would already get a lot of money. And if people can keep what they make they would spend more and the government would get more taxes through the sales tax. I just think it is not fair that people have to work all their lives for a small paycheck at the end of the week or month. Everything people do is work, and when they are lucky and make it to their retirement they most of the time don't have much of it, because they worked so hard and their bodies are hurt or they die shortly after they made it to retirement.
