Betrayed by a friend?
We expect hostility from enemies. But blows from friends really hurt.
We can react to such situations in several ways. We can withdraw to suffer in silence. We can strike back in anger. We can make excuses for our friend's actions. We can try to push the hurt out of our minds and ignore it. We can confront our friend and share our feelings. Or we can offer to forgive. What we do probably will depend on how close the friend is and how deeply we've been hurt. But before we do anything, let's share the pain with someone who really cares - God will never betray us. When hurt, share the pain before reacting.
