the knows everything friend,or ,self-absorbed friend
hassen1: I fully understand self-absorbed friend ,Not long ago an old friend came by with his new boat, and wanted me to go with him and let it float down at the Camp Lake dock.Ofcorse he had to stop ,and get a few beers,to put in the cooler, which was brand new,$175 dollar cooler, and steaks, only the best 2" thick ribeye for them, and I might put that plug looking thing where I could get to it easy, and don't forget the life jackets, for everybody had to have one, kids and all.Maybe we needed to take the water ski's too.He talked about how much the boat and motor cost like I was going to get one too, tomorrow.Well we got to the Lake and he ran into another friend, from back in the 70's and was wondering,if I minded if he and Hank took the boat ,to the dock.Him and Hank had been buddies before I came along and Old Hank was like a brother to him.So I sat on the diveing board and watched him and Old Hank zip out across the lake toward the other side of the lake about a mile away.I waited around for about three hours and hitched a ride home.Next day I heard about Him and Old Hank about drownding on the back side of the lake,he had not put the drain plug in tight enough and it fell out, letting the boat sink,in the deepest part of the lake.I thought about it for about three hours, and then ,I went in the house, and In my jacket pocket,I found that plug looking thing, and gave it a toss into the trash can.Maybe, I can ,afford a new boat? And I know, now, what that plug looking thing is for,and I won't forget. As for Mark and his buddie Old Hank,I haven't seen them. And I don't miss them. Now is that self-absorbed.
