My mom formatted her memory card!

My mom had a digital camera, brand new, and she had taken tons of pictures on it. Somehow, while she was trying to download all these photos, she formatted her memory card. Gone! All those pictures gone! Apparently, it's quite easy to do if you aren't familiar with the technology. What a bummer.
