Discussion: what antivirus do you use?

Since the time I've bought my PC I've used all kind of AVPs like Norton, Nod32, Panda, McAffee and numerous more. It's hard to tell which one is the best but once I had the following accident: I caught some virus but my Nod32 "said" that everything is OK(with newest defs). Then I simply removed it and installed Panda after just a few minutes it detected the virus and neutralised it. Afterwards all returned to normal.
So is Panda the best or...?

Well I use the AVG antivirus free edition , it serves pretty well , because i dont let any virus or spyware enter the computer at the first place . i guess the more important is the Zonealarm firewall i use . Wheneve I am online there are hundreds of small to high rated acceses that are blocked by it . As for the norton antivirus , it makes my Pc slower and also it is quite costly and still doesnot block all the viruses .
