Thai food

Ok, I haven't been to Thailand, but I've been to lots of Thai restaraunts. Everyone orders Pad Thai at a Thai restaraunt, but I have to say that red curries with coconut milk are the best contribution Thailand has given the world in terms of cuisine. The coconut milk makes the curry so incredibly rich! So delicious...

So far, I’ve been to like one Thai restaurant, and the food was AMAZING. Thai food isn’t that much different from Chinese food, so I guess if you liked Chinese food then you will probably like Thai food. Recently, I have been going to Wal-Mart and have been getting the stuff where you just put it in the microwave and you have a meal. Thai food is delicious!

Yeah, I guess that is true. Thai food is usually spicy. Is there a reason to this? Like, is it because spices are more common in Thailand or something, or is it just the style of their cooking? Chinese food is more varied. Which is a good thing for some, and bad thing for others. Some people like a certain type of food, and they don't like foods that go off that track. But, with all the variety of Chinese foods, it is easy to find something that you will like!

To me, all of their noodles seem the same. Like for Italian, you have many different kinds of noodles which they use to create their pasta or whatever it is that they are trying to. But with Thai Food, it's more about the sauce. The sauces they have are delicious, which is what makes their noodles so tasty!

I don't know what it is about the sauces they use. It's obviously a certain ingredient or something like that they include in the sauce, but what exactly is the ingredient? Those Thai food lovers on this forum could surely help us out. Tell us about the secret to make the Thai sauces!

if it's so easy to learn, it wouldn't be that special anymore right, i think they keep the recipe prety well guarded, just like the kentucky fried chicken, anyone can fry chicken, but not quite the way kentucky does it

You should try the thai's 'Tom Yam'. Sort of like a soup, a spicy one i might add. It varies from Chicken TomYam, or Seafood TomYam, or Beef TomYam or mix TomYam which contain all of them. Yumm! :D
