Corporate events in UK
Hello Hillary, have u heard about some Corporate Events in UK and other parts of Europe? Enjoying corporate events in some wonderful locations of UK can be the ultimate weekend entertainment for your employee. Other than travel and tourism, UK has gained high reputaion for corporate team building events.
Dragon boat racing
Paint ball shooting
Gokarting
and many other exciting team building activities are waiting for u in UK. Recently, I participated in such an event in South-East of UK and found the entire event very useful to improve our team spirit and efficiency.

Corporate event in Europe
A few months ago I had participated in a dragon boat racing - it was a corporate event that organized by our company in Greece. I have rediscovered the natural beauty of Greece and the effectiveness of a corporate event.
Dragon boat racing is a traditional chineese game and whout participating in the game u can't understand the importance of the team spirit. The entire game took 2-3 hours and people really enjoy the tempo of the corporate event.
I thereby suggest u to participate in dragon boat racing, if you get any chance in the future.... You may have experience of sailing boat but if you don't have the experience of dragon boat racing... you are missing something.................

I'd agree with both of you, corporate events are really helpful.
In a lot of ways too!
One, everyone gets a chance to have fun and unwind, that's a good rest, and most likely, when a company organizes events like these, employees more or less have no choice to to leave their stuffs and join the fun, so no matter how workaholic they are, it's ok, you'll get them the necessary vacation and relaxation which will help them.
And two,

This helps the employee to improve their inter-personal relationship and help them to understand the importance of 'team-work'.

So, thumbs up for corporate events, I strongly recommend it to any bosses reading this, just make sure you pick the right organizer and the right destination, too!

Spy Game
Want to play the role of 007? Other than Hollywood movies you can enly get the excitement in a spy game. This is another corporate team building event that can be organize even in your home town. But in such a case a remote location... that contains the beauty of forests, rocky mountains, cool breeze, fountains or rivers can be the plus for spending a memorable weekend.
Spy game is a corporate team building event that you can organize in your own city. A team is built with two or three people and specific assignments are given to each team. Some of them are real life puzzles. You have to complete the assignment ot crack the puzzle within the given time slot and all you have to do withe the help of your team members.
In this forum I found that people are talking about dragon beat racing and other corporate team building events... but I found this Spy Game a complete different one..............

Corporate events
So far many people shared their views on various corporate events but none of then has informed about basic features of corporate events... Here r some:
We have already understood the importance of the term 'team' in the corporate arena. Instead of the term 'group activity' we love to say 'team activity'. In a group there may be several geals... each member may have their individual goals. But in a team, goal is unique and same for all team members....
Working with each other
Sharing the knowledge and skills
Supporting the entire team by providing effective output
- are some basic principles, which we can learn from a corporate team building activity.
There is no doubt that with an improvement in the team activity, productivity of he entire department will go up............

Hi friends... Charles here... I have some exciting experience of corporate team building activities - River rafting and Go karting.
Rafting in and against the stream is not so easy and requires sufficient knowledge to manage the boat. Two months ago our company took us in Europe and gave us an wonderful treat - River rafting. I never found rowing so exciting and thanks god that we had trained person in the boat. Without trained person you will be in big trouble... The company who organizes this corporate event for us provided trained person for each boat and they guided us throughout the given time period.
Go karting is another exciting corporate event, which was enjoyed by us in the second day. This is a common corporate event that you will find in all amusement parks. After taking part in these tow corporate events I came to realize the importance of time, skills and perfectness. These events helped me to improve my output and their quality in the workplace........

You can't ignore the growing importance of team building corporate events. Corporate events are designed in such a way that they includes fun and team building attitude. Fun at work is necessary to provide sufficient scope to entertain and on the other hand best output can be obtained by team activities.
Not only US and Europe... Team building corporate events are spreading across the globe. Team building corporate events not only improve the overall output of the organization but also help the organizations to retain the talents....

Team building events are wonderful! The team that plays together develops better bonds and loyalties to each other that will carry over into their jobs. It helps individuals feel like a part of something great and they will work harder to maintain higher work standards.

In one of the offices I worked with before, the human resources department organizes annual beach parties that lasted a whole weekend. It is fun because the department makes it a point to hold the party at a different beach each year, and the activities they plan are really designed to make everyone bond together. It also lets the people in the company unwind and get to know their co-employees on a social basis.

I think annual events are great because they are memobrable for employees and it gives them something to look forward to each year. A company I worked with in the past had a day each summer where employees and their families were treated to a day at the local theme park with a bbq and entertainment. It was the highlight of our summer.

Corporate Events are a great Investment....it is not an Expense. Families getting together help greatly in breaking barriers making teamwork in the offices even more effective and efficient. It is a great opportunity for the new entrants to enter the mainstream quickly.

hmmm, well, here's my two cents
corporate events are costly, and only big MNCs can really afford it, if a company has the budget, be sure to find a really reliable event organizer to handle the misc of organizing an event like these, else, it's only a waste of money,
with a great organizer, then everyone would really benefit form these events, team-bonding, a relaxing break from work, and new sweet memories generated form the trip would definitley make the employees appreciate the company more :)
