Choose a career do not fall for it.

This does not necessarily mean you will be doing the same job, but that your jobs will follow a unique path… your career. You must make a path, which you want to follow. Rather than leaving it to fate to determine the line of work you will do, choose a career that will make you successful by your own definition. Make conscious choices and decide what you want from a career. If you take control of your life and become responsible for the positions you hold, you greatly improve the chances of having a fulfilling career. As you begin considering your career, realize that virtually the whole world is open to you. The alternatives are endless. This is an exciting time of opportunity for you, when you can become anything you want. Never jump into things and decide on a career right away; take the time to think about all you can be and explore the world. Enjoy the multitude of options that exist.

that's a great piece of advice there

and i strongly agree with you, no one should fix their goals too early without fully knowing their options out there, and these knowledge about the options availale only come when you're more seasoned in the corporate world

this is very encouraging, but in reality, it's so over-rated.
lotsa people don't really hav this luxury, having the whole world open to them, as many of us are tagged down with this and that, bla bla bla, so, however encouraging this is, it's still not that achievable in reality for many people :(

You are right! My statement could really be over-rated; yet that is only meant to give anyone an optimistic view of the world's line up of careers. If you do not have the college diploma with you and the needed skills; you will only get lost inside a labyrinth. Thus, finding a job entails lots of preparation.

Yes , absolutely correct . One more thing that i can add over here is that choose a career that you are really interested in . Recently i read a book about people who made their hobbies ad interests into a full time profession . And also they are doing some real good job by that .You can also do this . For example if you have a flair for writing there areoptions available for you to write a good book and sell it , or becoming an editor for a local newspaper or magazine , or you can even sell articles .
