What to wear to a summer wedding

Well, here are what you should do..Take your cue from about the level of formality for a summer wedding from what the invitation says. Only an after six, "White Tie" or "Ultra Formal" would require a long gown (and those invites are very rare).

You should choose pretty florals or yummy colors (pink, yellow, blue) for daytime or outdoor weddings.

If the wedding is an evening wedding, then dress up more, but still keep your look summery such as sleeveless dresses, strappy sandals, glowing skin...etc

Do keep hairdos under control in hot weather with soft updos or pretty hair barrettes.

Now, here are what you don't do. Pay attention!

Don't ever wear white because it competes with the bride. That's just wrong! Come on, its her special day. Although you would like to be the prettiest girl there, please don't steal the bride's spotlight.

Don't wear hosiery, heavy makeup or chunky jewelry in hot, humid climates or you'll melt. And it'll make you look like a clown. You wouldn't want that.

Don't dress too sexy such as belly showing or lots of cleavage, because it's not an appropriate occasion to dress like a tart. You can do that somewhere else. But its a wedding, so, behave, girls!
