They are both a diffrent type of person in the work place.
A nurse has to be more educated and where I am at they need to go to schooling for this get a degree and pass written testing by the board of health..

medical transcrptiont is just that they do only medical transcript. They just type out what the doctor has to say about a patient. School is need but they only have a very short time and do not have to learn the medical as a nurse does...
