Sex education in schools?

I think it's a real bad idea to teach kids on schools about sex. It's a really bad idea because it gets them is curious and you know what happens when kids are curious. Sex education should be done by parents and should be on a 'need to know' basis. And kids at school don't need to know!

On the contrary, I believe it is because children do not know much about sex is what makes them curious about it. I am not saying that they should be taught every steamy detail about it. It's just that children, especially those at puberty age, should be made to understand the changes their bodies are going through and what these changes mean for them. It will teach them to be more responsible with their bodies and such awareness will prevent unwanted pregnancies and STD.

On this point, I agree sex education is necessary. But in different societies, where parents dont speak of sex openly with their children, it becomes difficult.

I would suggest them to give importance of their body. These things must be told them but definately not by teachers. There are bad effects of this more than good effect..

Sex Education must be incorporated in the curriculum

Education gives off awareness, orientation and lifetime knowledge about anything. Once a person is educated about sex s/he will never get into big dilemma. Safe sex is being taught together with oral contraceptives, etc. Uneducated persons usuallty have wrong decisions. What do they have? Six or more children with poverty-stricken lifestyle? I am a pro-life, yet we need to be educated when it comes to sexuality. Sex is good. Everybody must be curious of it..... and might give it a big damn.
