Prince fails testolini
She could be the most beautiful girl in the world – so beautiful, so beautifu-uul – but it’s officially all over for Prince and second wife Manuela Testolini Nelson. The diminutive one has filed for divorce in Minneapolis.
Which is interesting as, for the last five years, he’s denied marrying Manuela at all.
After the failure of his first marriage to dancer Mayte, the purple-loving performer publicly denounced marriage. And now it turns out he was hitched all the time, the scamp.
Papers confirm that the two tied the knot in 2001.
Now, five years on – which isn’t bad for a pop marriage, frankly – the wee fella has decided enough is enough and called it off.
Divorce papers were filed last week, but details are a little scarce as judges are keen to protect the couple’s privacy.
This of course won’t stop anyone speculating on the reasons why the paisley-loving control freak – and all-round musical genius – has called it a day. Maybe he got fed up with Manuela borrowing his high heels?
