Send a message via Yahoo to humpty
Hmmm, those are not that difficult actually,
plenty of places to register a domain, even with yahoo.com

godaddy.com
olm.net
lunarpages.com

basically, those who provide domain registering, usually provides hosting services as well, so, look for a good hosting company, and register your domain there, after that, most of these hosting company has fairly easy to use website builders for you to build your site, and so on and so forth.

However, I hope you have a good idea what website you're gonna building, and everything has been thoroughly planned before any registering should take place.

If you have a good idea, and a great domain name, and you go register it, well, it is possible that after a while, you might have a better idea for a domain name, and thus you've wasted the first one you've registered.

So, the key is, plan plan plan, have a crystal clear idea of what your website is gonna be about, and what sort of hosting plans you need, before you pay for anything my friend.

Even marketing resources, there's plenty of good ones which are basically free, and you don't have to pay anything, just learning and learning the tips for free!

One good one I could recommend can be found at www.gimmemymoneynow.com

I personally subscribed to the free newsletter and I'm learning so much ever since, and haven't paid a single cent, hehehehhe I'm more like curious to learn more only, that's all.

internet scams are all over the place, it's too risky to try it, and might end up as a waste of time i think, definitely not the kinda things i wnana do with my life, but if you do insist on getting burnt, well, minimize your burns with something established, i remember yahoo small business has everything you need for that right?

go with yahoo then, check it out for yourself at yahoo

Teksun welcome to talk topics.

I have to agree with you. Starting a website is really not that hard to do and getting it on the Internet with a hosting plan now days for a month is easy and cost little.

For less than 15.00 you can get a domain name, and one month hosting site, that will help you. If interested ask me I have a hosting site we sell packages and so it can be done.

Go out and do research and there are great free software to build the website just takes reading and little knowledge on how a site functions and you are set to go ....

For the hosting there are thousands of hosting sites. You should choose one that offers a free hosting (for a start) and then upgrade you hosting plan. For domain registry - http://www.internic.net was the first acredited domain registrar for .COM .NET etc.

Support is 24/7 and they have always been there when needed help...also for us we have a great starting package as low as 4.99 a month..
