Darjeeling toy train

For me, the best way to explore Himalayas is to travel on these toy trains. Runing slowly on two feet gauge track, this train puffs between New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. The train traverses through Siliguri, Tindharia, Mahanadi, Kurseong, Tung, Sonada. It crosses through Ghoom stated to be world's highest station at an altitude of 2260mt/7407 ft!

This 88 Km route is breathtaking passing through hills, meadows, and lush green forests.

Yeah I understand this is very nostalgic and as some of my friends have also told me the best thing while traveling here is this toy train. What is more surprising we are not going to get this often to see and surely this can be regarded as an experience of a lifetime for those who feel to engage in some special activities while traveling. Love to see this myself too.
