It is not really our personality that proves that there is hope beyond this life, it is the Bible, God's word, other than that we are just guessing. We cannot hope to know what our true purpose for our existence, because we are not responsible for us(human beings) being here in the first place; the one/thing that is made cannot know why it is made, it is the one who created it, is the one who will know the purpose for the thing that he has made.
