This is the crap-tastic page threw together for "Teh Box!!1". Teh Box!!1 is an uberleet computer that basically sits around and wastes space. Its rocks.

Current specs for Teh Box!!1-

-4meg video card, no idea what brand,
-288 megs of pc100 ram, believed (1 256 meg stick and 1 32 meg stick)
-s**te cound card. Once again, no idea on the brand, but its an oldie
-P2 233Mhz processor
-200 Watt power supply
-52x CD-ROM (its loud as all hell too)

There is no hard-drive in Teh box!!1- it runs off of a Knoppix CD in the 52x CDROM. There is, however (as showcased in the pictures) an external power/IDE connector for a hard-drive, so I can plug in some MP3's or movies or something.

I am somewhat concerned about it catching on fire, but I'm sure I can deal with the loss of the system.

The box came from my place of employment, and its a Hershey(tm) Nuggets(tm, I think) box. I had originally placed it in a shoebox, but it was way too small. Then I tried to get a Heineken box, but it was in pretty bad condition (which sucks, because that would have been awesome). This one sorta caught my eye, and it turned out to be pretty much the perfect size for what I needed.

It only took me about 2 hours to piece it together, and the thing is literally held together by tape and some strips of cardboard. Surprisingly, its actually quite sturdy. It can support the weight of my monitor, which is way more than I expected it too. I barely thought it would be able to support its own weight.
