Making friends is not easy to do. In fact some people are not good friend makers. A person has to be open minded and treat them the way you would wanted to be treated.

Last night a friend I was talking to has help me alot since my husband died. Seems like we talk about me all the time and not much about them.

They started talking about a bad day they had. Oh boy this was great for me. Now my turn to listen and help if I can. Sometimes we have to be just good listeners not talkers all the time. Helping a friend sometimes means just listening giving advise is great but sometimes they just need to talk and you listen.

That was the case last night the friend just need to talk, all I could tell them is to hang in there things will get better. But then I knew they needed cheering up and so Did that.

Now this is good friends.

Bingoo, this is the best thing to make friendship more stronger. To make it live for long. If you want more care from your friend in your bad time then you must also give that kinda support to them when they are in trouble. You just can't expect them to sacrifice, like we all do, Its our responisibilities also. Two phrase can be said on that:-
1) To err is human and
2) A friend in need is a friend indeed.

This is so true. And also sad to see how society today has brought us to the point that we can not trust to many people.

We can have friends lots of them,but finding true and good friends are hard to come by. With being a busy world these days sometime people forget and dont take the time for friends.

hi friends this is rajasekhar.k. i have read few messages and i feel that actually there is no problem with friends if you the right ones. i remember a saying " attraction happens manytimes, love happens sometimes, marriage may happen onetime but a good friend like you happens once in a life time."
friends are meant to bring out the best in eachother. there may be small clashes between the friends. but this is only expression of ones feelings over another. i remember another quotation which is as follows" we often don't express our feelings for the fear of losing a relationship, but the fact remains that we loose a beautiful relationship by not expressing them." i end with the following saying "birth is a start of life, beauty is the art of life, love is part of life, death is last of life but friendship is the heart of life."

it is really the true feeling of mine too. sometimes i feel that iam my own true friend and friends are there as long as everything is fine. i don't know how many will share this thought of mine, i feel that god is one's own true friend.
