Yeah that's true. Just give your customers enough to satisfy their needs, and then if you want suggestively sell to go past their needs. If they get extra, then that's fine. But if not, you already satisfied their needs. You shouldn't try to sell more to them if their needs aren't satisfied, and you shouldn't try to trick the customers. Your number one priority should always be satisfying the customers.
