A friend indeed is a friend in need ..........

well listeners , i have a friend and this friend of mine is really out of shape from the hungry pulling of drugs in his life. My friend is not an imaginary friend ,but he is my best friend starting from primary to secondary school..we always look out for each other ......but something happend to our relationship that really change everything in our life....my friend started taking drugs ,in the end it resulted in robbery ....well to my own thinking , i'm just wondering what kind of a friend i'm i ....i have a friend who is needing help but what i do ..just standing there and doing nothing.......if anyone is going to read this letter of mine ....please can you give some advice to which i can use to save my best friend...thanx for listening..........

Sounds like your friendship has become stranded because of the drugs, he does dugs but you do not?

Drugs have changed him and now he is robbing? People get that way, just like people that drink, when they drink to much they dont have common sense. Same way with drugs.

If he is doing drugs and it is a good friend would get him help no matter if it maybe the end of the realtionship. You need to take a stand with what you believe. How can you have an friendship if now he is doing things that you do not belive in?

If he is a true friend down the line he will come back with a diffrent outlook on your friendship and will thank you for what you did.

I know I would feel the same if I was your friend, might put a strain on the friendship for a while but once I was able to get help and come back to my sense I would thank you for it.

You can help him in a several ways. You can start by giving suggestions to him that what he is doing is very bad and it can cost him anything just about anything. Sure, he ll going to neglect your advice but if you are his best friend, you ll have to do that. Just because he ll become angry on you; you can't see him falling in a deep hole!!!
One more thing, do his family members know about it? If not please inform them. They will take immense action and will do whatever medical help he needed.
My friend it is very hard to come out from drugs. The patient not only needs medical but they needs mental support also. Do u think they love what they are doing, no, they hate it when you ask him in normal condition he will say he hate it and wants to come out of it but don't know how.
So, best way to help him is talking and talking positive about his life. He may become angry or even can beat you when he will be in need of drugs but this will be your test, pray to God and start doing something in favour of your friend.
